The \u201cResearch Data” digitization cluster combines the three projects “RIS Synergy”, “FAIR Data Austria” and “Austrian DataLAB and Services” funded by the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, along with the tools and services for teaching, administration and research of the scientific project life cycle.<\/p>\n

The goals of the projects cover a wide range of topics: from the simple use of computing resources and algorithms and inter-university access to research data to efficient research data management in accordance with the FAIR principles and the sustainable implementation of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) as well as\u00a0 <\/span>interfaces and standards for data collection according to the once-only principle and concepts for an internationally compatible research portal.<\/p>\n

After almost two years of intensive and constructive cooperation in and between the projects, the topics and goals of the three projects will be summarized for “newcomers” in a compact way, the results achieved and future challenges will be presented and their significance for different target groups, such as researchers and administrative staff, will be summarized . The visions on which the projects are based will be illustrated by practical examples and an outlook will be given for the future of new support and service offerings.<\/p>\n

Representatives of the projects RIS Synergy”, “FAIR Data Austria” and “Austrian DataLAB and Services” will lead through the first joint webinar of the Research Data Cluster on March 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
